Commercial Insurance Broker – Paisley/Hybrid

A Specialist Independent Insurance Broker is looking to add an experienced Commercial Broker to their growing team. This is a great opportunity to be involved with a leading business that places progression in everything they do.

What will the day-to-day look like?

  • Providing support to Account Executives in servicing a portfolio of key clients
  • Issuing policy documentation and certificates in an efficient and timely manner
  • Handling varied aspects of policy administration including renewals, mid-term adjustments, invoicing, declarations, and responding to client queries
  • Managing client invoicing and documentation using the Acturis database (Renewals/MTA/Declarations)
  • Maintaining and managing diary tasks and ensuring quality control
  • Creating and maintaining renewal checklists, updating spreadsheets, and ensuring data integrity
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients

What experience do you need?

  • Ideally at least 3 years experience in a commercial insurance environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the commercial insurance market and products
  • Strong communication skills with confidence in client interactions, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and negotiate effectively with insurers
