Care Home Nurse

Job Title: Care home nurse
Location: Port Glasgow
Hours: 33 hours per week (days/nights available)
Salary: £21 per hour

We are looking for a dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a reputable care home in Port Glasgow. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide high-quality care to our residents while developing your career in a supportive environment.

The role:

  • Deliver the highest standards of nursing care to our residents, ensuring their individual care needs are met.
  • Administer medications, manage care plans, and liaise with healthcare professionals and families.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, ensuring compliance with NMC guidelines and company policies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment in the care home.
  • Participate in Service User assessments, reviews, and regular care evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration.
  • Previous experience in a care home setting (desirable).
  • A genuine passion for working with the elderly and vulnerable adults.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Satisfactory PVG/DBS check.
