As a result of their sustained growth, they are seeking a self-motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team.

 

                What you will bring:

  • Timely processing of monthly payroll information for external bureau submission
  • Handling payroll returns, including P11D and P60 data, and executing year-end tasks
  • Execution of month-end financial accounting routines and corporate reporting schedules
  • Monthly completion of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Filing monthly VAT returns accurately and on time
  • Weekly maintenance of trial balance
  • Filing of government returns, such as those for the Office of National Statistics.
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX regulations
  • Offering ad-hoc support as needed and providing coverage for fellow team members within the Accounting team when necessary

 

What the role will look like:

  • Maintain the company's purchase and sales ledgers
  • Manage income and bank processes, including reconciling bank statements
  • Assist in maintaining accounting systems and financial records
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance & Operations team and other company departments
  • Engage with suppliers, customers, venues, and auditors to support financial processes
  • Conduct weekly payment runs for both domestic and foreign transactions
  • Facilitate monthly intercompany netting and settlements
  • Provide weekly cash flow forecasts to the central Treasury team
  • Perform reconciliations for Intercompany and Bank accounts in multiple currencies
  • Manage and process Accounts Payable invoices when necessary
  • Oversee Fixed Asset management, including tagging and reconciliation processes
